Maternity at the Ranch

July 10, 2009

This is a session I had at a beautiful ranch here in southern California recently. This family was so fun and sweet, and they happen to be using the same midwives I used for the birth of my daughter. Their son was also a Star Wars fan (my son is as well) and brought along a clone trooper costume, which was fun (it’s clone trooper not storm trooper, I believe! I did get this wrong a few times and was quickly corrected ;) ). I can’t wait to meet the new addition when he arrives!

Fourth of July

July 5, 2009

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July. I know we had a blast! My son and I baked a flag cake (from scratch with fresh picked berried from the farm ;) ), and it was great. We also did some crafts with the kids and went outside to do the party poppers. And of course, we watched fireworks- from our balcony!

Here’s a quick shot of the kids..getting so big. My *baby* is not my *baby* anymore, she looks so grown up, doesn’t she? :)

It can’t get much better than this- a fun bride, abandoned castle ruins, and gorgeous 360 degree views. Oh, and beautiful lighting. This session was so much fun!
