My husband and I decided to go out to the castle ruins once more before we move. I had such a fun time with my bridal/boudoir session last time, I thought it would be a great pace to take the kids. Wow- I was wrong! It was about 90 degrees when we got there. We got there too early, and had to entertain them for an hour and a half before we could start shooting (we didn’t want to hike back, just to hike out again). Also, apparently this place is more “discovered” as there was lots of broken glass, trash, etc everywhere. It’s so unfortunate the way people treat places.

All turned out well, of course :) We did encounter a rattle snake on our hike back to the van, but thankfully it was a non confrontational encounter.

I absolutely love this place, and I am so excited to explore around the beautiful Pacific Northwest once we get out there- there are so many places I can’t wait to do sessions at!

As some of you know, we have had our house up for sale. I would like to finally announce that things are official, we are moving! Unfortunately, I only have a limited amount of sessions left here in southern California. If you would like to be notified when I come out here for sessions in the future, please fill out the contact form on my website and I will definitely keep you updated.

We are very excited to be moving back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and I look forward to documenting lives and memories in that part of the country. Things will be pretty busy over the next few months, but I do hope to post photos of my own as well as those of my amazing clients.

Adorable Newborn (& family)

I photographed this mom’s maternity session at Paramount Ranch in Agoura recently. I was so excited to meet this little guy. They were able to do a home birth, and at 7 days old he was just so alert and as sweet as could be!
